Raiders rumble past Pirates

Runningback Jabari Anderson rumbles over the Pirates’ defense for another touchdown in Friday’s 63-7 victory over the Pirates. The Raiders are now Ranked 68 in the state and 504 nationally, compared to Wylie High’s rank of 269 in the state and 2197 in the nation.

East also won the Chic-Fil-A Crosstown Chowdown earning the school a $750 scholarship.

Hey guys my name is Laine, I am the Wylie East sports editor. I write for Neighborsgo, The Wylie News, Blueprint, and the student newspaper, The Raider Reader. I have always loved sports; my favorite teams are the Rangers, LSU tigers, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks. I have attended sporting events my entire life such as Rangers, Cowboys, and Mavericks games. I played baseball since I was little and I was center in football from seventh to ninth grade. I have a huge passion for sports, I am constantly watching ESPN and I keep up with just about all of the history of all Sports and all teams. I hope to become a professional sports writer someday and maybe If i'm luck work for ESPN.
