The undefeated Raiders were a force to be reckoned with against the fierce Bobcats.
The Raiders offense ran like a well-oiled machine. From the first possession, to the last, the Bobcats defense was no match for the spectacular wide-out duo of Marcell Ateman and Quan Jones. Kevon Mack and Jabari Anderson also created an explosive backfield duo, shredding defenders and cutting through the defense for another dominant ground game.
The game was not entirely about the offense. Although the Bobcats offensive line consisted of giants, they were no match for the mighty Raiders. The defense stood out the entire game, dominating the line of scrimmage. The Bobcats couldn’t get a play off without being hit in the backfield. During the third quarter, the Raiders’ defense came out firing on all cylinders and backed the Bobcats up on consecutive drives to set a second half tone. The Raiders brought home another win, 52-21.
The Raiders have opened the season 3-0 and look to refresh and correct the rare miscues during the bye-week. During the first three games, the Raiders dominated on both sides of the ball, outscoring opponents 134-76.
The Raiders will be ready for their next game Sept.23 when they battle against McKinney for their first district game of the season.
