Homecoming spirit week is Oct 16-20. Students can dress differently each day for a themed “Homecoming Games” spirit day. The theme is based off of the movie, The Hunger Games.

The first spirit dress up day is Mockingjay Monday, where students can twin with people.

“I’m most excited for twin day,” Varsity Cheerleader Coach Caryn Seed said. Coach Seed and the cheerleaders came up with these dress up days.

On Tuesday, the theme is pay a Tribute to your favorite TV Show. Students can wear anything to represent a favorite television show character.

“I’m going to wear the Raider shirt  that looks like the logo from the TV show Friends,” cheerleader Mya Jones said.

Capital Wear Wednesday is for students to flaunt their fanciest clothes just like in the Hunger Games when the capitol citizenswore elaborate dresses, suits and wigs.

“I would wear my favorite dress with heels,” sophomore Emma Eason said.

Tick Tock Thursday is where students can wear clothes from their favorite decade.

“I am going to wear a poodle skirt,” Eason said.

The last dress up day is opening ceremonies Friday where students wear district colors.

Seed hopes that everyone participates and wears each topic for each day.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing what everyone wears,” Seed said.
