Instead of filling out multiple scholarship applications, the district has created a link where seniors may fill out only one application that is distributed to all local scholarship committees.

The window to apply opens at 12:01 a.m., Friday, Jan. 29 and closes at 11:59.p.m. Tuesday, March 1. This is a firm window. You must submit your application during this time period to qualify for the scholarships.

This is the application for ALL Wylie Education Foundation Scholarships as well as some additional local scholarships offered through school organizations and community organizations.

Applicants must set up a user name and password.

Following is important information needed to complete the online application:

• Ranking GPA
• SAT/ACT scores
• FAFSA EFC (expected family contribution)
  • This means that applicants must have completed the FAFSA before completing the local scholarship application in order to have this information.
• Intended college(s), major(s)
• School activities
• Community activities
• Names and emails of references (Wylie East)

There are three general essays for all applicants as well as additional scholarship specific essays for applicants who meet certain criteria.
