As the school year comes to an end, students across all grade levels are reflecting on the experiences, relationships and personal growth that defined their year.
For many seniors, the final weeks are especially meaningful as they prepare to say goodbye to high school and the people who shaped their journey.
“My favorite part of this year is getting to see all my friends and spending lots of time together before graduation,” senior Zainab Al-Dhahabi said.
Underclassmen also shared how this year helped them balance academics and social life while adjusting to new environments.
“I like being able to socialize and get my work done because it helps me be productive,” freshman Sollen Z. Al Hasan said.
For others, the year was about stepping out of their comfort zones and building confidence.
“The phone law that got implemented this school year got me more comfortable with people,” sophomore Gage Allsup said.
Students also highlighted how new school resources and events contributed to their overall experience.
“I really like ParentSquare because it allows me to keep up with my extracurriculars,” junior Janabi Al said. “My favorite part about this school year is Homecoming because I got to have lots of fun with my friends and meet new people.”
