#2termz, #obama2012, #voteobama were just a few of the many trending election topics on Twitter Nov. 6. There were tweets galore about the election, some pretty intelligent, and some not so much. Ignorance, illiteracy and the lack of education over the topic made the election unbearable. If people want to tweet about the election, all I ask is to at least to educate yourselves so I and the rest of Twitter don’t have to suffer through every illiterate tweet. People claiming that the world is going to end because Obama is president, is ridiculous and beyond idiotic. The world is not going to come to a crashing halt because he was elected to serve a second term. So please for all of our sakes, either get educated about politics, or do us all a favor please and keep your illiterate, uneducated, ignorant tweets to yourself.

Sara Grosvenor, Staff Writer
Hi! I’m Sara Grosvenor. I’m a senior this year! It’s my first year on the newspaper staff. I’m editor in chief of the yearbook and I would have to say that yearbook is my favorite class of the day! I love sports and I am proud to be part of Raider Nation! I’m an easy going person who knows when to be serious, and my favorite outside of school activity would definitely be photography and singing loudly in my car, even if I’m a little out of tune!
