She loves Ariana Grande. Her favorite drink is Mangonada. She spends her time playing soccer. Long story short, she’s Julianna Hunt.
Tell me about yourself. Hobbies, goals, interests, opinions?
I am a soccer player. My goal is to get to 200 juggles with a soccer ball. I’m at 113. My favorite artist is Ariana Grande because her music is diverse. I also play club soccer for Solar.
When and why did you become interested in being a soccer player?
I started playing soccer when I was six years old. My parents encouraged me to play, and I ended up enjoying it. In middle school I played soccer, and continued to play in high school with several friends I’d made along the way.
What and who inspires you?
My brother inspires me because he’s very resilient. He wasn’t an athlete, but he was in theater and encouraged me to try my best.
What are your top three strengths as a soccer player, and what is one area you are working to improve?
My biggest strengths are juggling, speed and passing. I’m working to improve my explosiveness. When getting the ball, I need to learn how to quickly pass it rather than hesitate.
How do you handle the pressure of playing in big games?
I don’t often get nervous before games, but if I do I decompress by listening to music.
How do you and your teammates contribute to team unity?
I try to include everyone during games and practices. I feel like my teammates often get along and we can work together.
What are your plans for after high school?
Move to Arizona and play soccer at Pima, a junior college. I would major in kinesiology because I want to be a physical therapist. I think physical therapy is interesting, and how the body works.
What are your goals for the future?
Get into University of Arizona, master 200 juggles, get a masters in kinesiology, and receive my physical therapist license.
