Scotreal Hayes signed his letter of intent to Trinity Valley Community college to play football Feb. 4, National Signing Day.

Hayes played varsity football and his experience would not be forgotten. His teammates walked on stage andshook his hand in congratulations.

“He was always ready to work, and coaches could count on him. He had a smile on his face everyday, and that’s what we looked for,” Lepsis said.

Hayes’ teammates and classmates stayed back after the signing to offer their congratulations.

“It was a good experience coming to Wylie East and getting to know everyone,” Hayes said. “I feel like it will be a new beginning in my life after high school.”
