In room 103, students captivate audio/visual experiences, turning creative ideas into tangible stories and films. The endorsement is Business and Industry; the pathway is Arts, Audio Visual Technology & Communications. One of the classes is Audio/Video Production. Audio visual production is a fun and creative pathway. It is a mix of video production and editing.
Currently audio visual production is working on a project- making a short film called “The Door.” Students can choose actors, actresses, editors, filmers, directors and producers for their very own short film.
“I really enjoy the class. I like video production in general,” sophomore Kailee Rigell said. “For my group project, I’m the filmer.”
Audio visual production is centered around filmmaking— and a big part of that is editing. The class has multiple projects throughout the year. It is a class for film business and helps the students understand the basics of editing on different apps.
“Editing is a big part of the class,” sophomore Brooklyn Vasquez said. “If you don’t have motivation to edit, you won’t like the class. I enjoy learning about editing and getting better at it. We use different apps, like Premiere Pro. I really like audio visual production, and it helps me get better at the things that I love.”
