KLTY announced that Mrs. Paul has been selected from among hundreds of names that were submitted by students for March teacher of the month. A student sent in a letter telling KLTY why Mrs. Paul should win the teacher of the month. She nominated Mrs. Paul because she always gave her hugs when she was feeling down.

“Never in my life have I met such a wonderful, compassionate person,” wrote the student in her letter to KLTY. “In any other instance that I just need a hug or comfort from Mrs. Paul, she is always there.”

Mrs. Paul received multiple prizes including: $100 gift card from Care Now, $100 gift card from McDonalds,  a one night stay at the Embassy Suites, a complementary micro derm abrasion  from Sona Med Spa, a $100 gift card from Uncle Julio’s and many more.

“Mrs. Paul is such a wonderful person and teacher, and if anyone deserves to be Teacher-of-the-Month, it is her,” the student said. “She truly is the perfect teacher and deserves it so much.”

The announcement was broadcast April 8 on KLTY.

“It was an awesome experience, I’m really lucky to have a job I love,” Mrs. Paul said.
