National Honor Society hosts blood drive

National Honor Society hosts blood drive

The National Honor Society is hosting another blood drive March 30 all day in the practice gym.

Students 17 and older may sign up without parent consent, but students age 16-17 must have their parents sign a form. Students younger than that are not allowed to donate. Forms may be picked up in Mrs. Lindsay’s room, 218, or rinted out from the link below. Forms may be turned in at any time and sign-ups for times start March 19. Students are encouraged eat an iron-rich dinner and have breakfast that morning before donating blood to prevent excessive light-headedness. Make sure to have forms turned in on time to save a slot. Check out the link for students who are younger then 16 who would like to donate.  https://www.wehsblueprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Blood-donate-1.jpg

About the Contributor
Caitlyn Bogart
Caitlyn Bogart, Co-Editor In Chief
Good day, evening, afternoon or whatever time of day it happens to be while you read this, I hope you’re having a great time. I am a senior and Editor in Chief. I look forward to making our team as strong and seamless as possible. I honestly have no idea how to write this. You would think I would be better considering I’ve done this for three years running, but I’m a news writer. I am much better at writing about others. Writing is a huge part of my life. I plan on majoring in Business Marketing and English with a creative writing minor because I also write fiction books, one of which will be published this year for my Texas Performance Study Program (TPSP) project, so watch out! I live inside my head a lot and enjoy long philosophical conversations. I kind of feel like I just wrote an ad for a dating site. Didn’t mean to, but it happened.
