Heath Hadley, Editor in Chief
Hello! I am Heath Hadley, the Editor in Chief for Blue Print for the second time this year. I am a senior (cries) and I want to be an astrophysicist. Outside of school activities, I love to read, play video games, and go on walks when I have time. I have an old golden retriever dog named Ranger and work at the local B&B on weekends and Thursday nights. I am an only child, which is why I have Ranger and an amazing set of parents who I love dearly. I take all AP Classes, Newspaper (of course), and the A’ Capella and Out of the Blue choirs. Last year, I was a Lieutenant for the P.O.L.I.C.E Club, and this year I am running to be Captain of the club. I was also in the Book Club my sophomore year, which was a lot of fun. I am the Secretary of the National Honor Society, a member of the Spanish National Honor Society, a member of Raiders in Service, and a member of the Parent Teacher Student Association. I have participated in the NASA Texas High School Aerospace Scholars Program, and the George Mason Washington Journalism and Media Conference, and I am participating in a teen court program. I’ve been published in the Wylie News several times, and have gotten a best of School Newspaper Online award on one of my stories. I have gotten 1st place in Headline writing and 3rd in Entertainment Feature writing, as well as some honorable mentions. I have made so many connections and friendships with people locally, state-wide, and nationally, and I am grateful for everyone who has helped me get where I am today. Now, I am going to make my senior year great not only for myself but for Blue Print too. We have a lot of amazing stories coming.
