PiRaider Productions is looking for students from Wylie High and Wylie East High School to hire as members of their crew working the new video board at Wylie stadium. There are a variety of job opportunities open that Video Coordinator Kristen Gallegos is looking to fill.
“Job opportunities for the crew members include show director, producer, camera, camera assistant, graphics and replay,” Gallegos said.
This job gives students the experience to have a look at what occurs in the process of video making in the real world.
“This is an incredible opportunity for current high school students to learn what goes on behind-the-scenes of one of the most exciting industries,” Gallegos said. “We’re looking for motivated students who are eager to work in a never boring, fast-paced environment to help create an awesome atmosphere at Wylie Stadium”.
The PiRaider productions crew will work in the state-of-the-art control room at the Wylie Stadium and will be paid just as any other job although the wage is currently undetermined. Students will not be required to travel to away games considering home games will be the only ones recorded for the video board.
In order to become a member of the crew, attend an informational meeting March 25in the WEHS media center at 8:30 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. or contact Kristin Gallegos by e-mail at [email protected] to learn more information.
“Students can also ‘like’ PiRaider Productions on Facebook or follow them on Twitter at PiRaiderTV,” Gallegos said.
