Avery Heist

Avery Heist, Staff Reporter

Hello! I'm Avery and this is my senior year!

I've been on staff for three years and I have won first place in headline writing in the UIL-ILPC competition and two honorable mention photos last year. I love to crochet and I sell my creations on my Etsy shop called Handmade by Avery. I have always been crafty and creative and I love all kinds of art. Writing is one of my strong suits so naturally I ended up in Newspaper. I love bouncing ideas off my fellow staff members and putting together amazing stories and documententing high school memories.
