Sophomore Marissa Gentry took first place in her division this weekend at the Royce City Girls Powerlifting Meet. Her totals increased by 75 Ibs. to 645 Ibs. She is doing an outstanding job so far this year. Her next meet is February 19th in Greenville where she will try to earn a spot in the Regional Powerlifting meet.
Marissa Gentry finished second in her weight class at the Princeton Invitational Girls Power lifting meet last Saturday. She lifted a combined weight of 570 lbs.
