Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the 16th installment of the Call of Duty series and the fourth installment in the Modern Warfare series. It’s not a sequel, but a reboot of the series. Before the game even officially released, it already gained a fair amount of controversy due to it’s realistic subject matter.

People have claimed it to be too realistic and would prefer a peaceful playthrough. A peaceful playthrough in a Call of Duty game?!”

Critics say the terrorist attack at Piccadilly Circus, London, shown in the Modern Warfare reveal trailer, shines a light on terrorism. Some people were offended by this. People have claimed it to be too realistic and would prefer a peaceful playthrough. A peaceful playthrough in a Call of Duty game?! That’s completely ridiculous, if you are wanting a peaceful playthrough, you shouldn’t play Call of Duty. Infinity Ward made the game respectful and realistic, which was promised to the Call of Duty community.

The game was created with the help of ex-military like Navy SEALS, so the game was tended to with care, especially with its heavy subject matter.

You could argue that this offends people, but there is a simple solution: DON’T PLAY THE GAME. This shouldn’t be a problem though because Infinity Ward handled this game with respect and dignity.

The game was released Oct. 25 and the gameplay was smooth. The game ran great on my PS4, but expect a long download time which can take about 20 hours to download. The game is worth the wait, the campaign was the best Call of Duty campaign the community has had in a while. With the hot garbage Sledgehammer has been putting out, it’s refreshing to have a great Call of Duty again.
