Google>School

In this generation, and the generations to come, we have become obsessed with the World Wide Web. There are endless possibilities: from the simplistic to the complex, from Twitter to Google. Opportunistic people can find out the answer to what is going on with simply one click of a button, so what is the point of school when we can just Google the answer?

College and the last few years of high school can be a waste of time due to half of what the ‘teachers’ are teaching is on the Internet. Quite literally most of the lazy teachers will get their worksheets from the Internet, and then there will be the answers on the Internet, then boom no work for anyone. It is that simple to find a loophole for laziness.

Google has and always will have the answer, plain and simple. Nearly every time I have to write a paper for a class, I look up the answer on Google. Anytime I want to know how to accomplish something, I Google or YouTube it for the answer.

The answer is almost always on the Internet. There is no need for lazy teachers or pointless classes when these things can be self-taught or learned via the Internet. I am not saying copy everything that you possibly can, but learn without the pointless busy work.

School is not the same without the Internet, but is school necessary with the Internet?
