A school record amount of choir students were selected for chairs in the Texas All-State Choirs:

senior Delaney Crane, a Fifth Chair Soprano 2 in the All-State Treble Choir; senior Jamie Gammon, a First Chair Alto 2 in the All-State Mixed Choir; junior Meredith Simmons, a Fourth Chair Alto 2 in the All-State Mixed Choir; and junior Elbert Haney, a Third Chair Tenor 1 in the All-State Mixed Choir.

“This is a huge accomplishment representing the top 2-3% of all singers in the state and is the reflection of over six months of hard work and dedication,” choir director Nathan Dame said.
