Vandalism Strikes

writer: DJ Brennan

Last Friday, one school committed an act of vandalism against Wylie East.

Custodian, Mrs. Judy was the first to notice the redecoration of the campus.

“I came to work at 6:15 a.m. and found graffiti all over the windows, I quickly called the police department, my boss and my employees to tell them to come in early to help clean up the mess,” Judy said.

Some of the students picked up a rag and began to help the custodians clean up the mess the vandals had left behind.

“They uprooted a tree and put a Pirate flag in its place, the police officers took the flag as evidence, and thankfully it all got cleaned up and everything is fine now,” Judy said.

All the damage done was quickly cleaned up thanks to members of the Raider family.

“Always remember we want to unite together as the raider nation to show pride and character that’s beyond reproach,” Principal Williams said.

DJ Brennan, Staff Writer
DJ Brennan is one of many names, but in regards to Newspaper she is most impressive. Thick hair in a graceful fall, blue-grey eyes open in an observant questioning of other people's mannerisms. A woman who wins all mental battles with her consistency, stubbornness, and conviction of the legitimacy of all her criticisms. Since there was no one to tell her otherwise, she went on in her brutal honesty; and held fast. It was she who never looked twice at an opinion once made; she who found ways of being kind that people didn't expect; she who is willing to accept a partnership rather than lose a battle. She only lost one battle--the filter of opinions. All in all her life is a busy one. She loves her job and enjoys manipulating the strings of the people surrounding her to insure excellence. She would sigh sometimes during the day, thinking that she had indeed helped the less knowledgeable from being a nuisance to the rest of the community. Written by her friend and peer Caitlyn Bogart.
