In the wrong place at the wrong time

In the wrong place at the wrong time

Long lines and small bladders can sometimes cause a boy to use the restroom that isn’t exactly meant for him.
This past school year, senior Clayton McClure accidently wandered into the girls’ restroom and in a split second ran into the ultimate hall monitor, Dr. Edge herself.
“My most memorable moment this year was when I accidently used the girls’ restroom without realizing what I was walking into,” McClure said.
He didn’t realize where he was until he caught the sight of Dr. Edge washing her hands. McClure quickly slipped back into the stall before he was noticed and waited for her to leave.
“I felt severely embarrassed, like I wanted to crawl into a hole and die. I really had to use the restroom so I ran into the nearest one, how was I supposed to know it was the girls’?” McClure said.
Luckily for him, McClure slipped in and out of the girls’ restroom unnoticed and relieved.
“I was so afraid I was going to get in trouble as soon as I walked out, but thankfully no one was in the hall and Dr. Edge was nowhere to be seen,” McClure said.
Ever since that moment, McClure always looks where he’s going when in a hurry and always makes sure to use the boys’ restroom.
“The fact that it was the most stupid, embarrassing thing I had ever done and a major close call to being in a lot of trouble just made it more memorable,” McClure said.

About the Contributor
DJ Brennan
DJ Brennan, Staff Writer
DJ Brennan is one of many names, but in regards to Newspaper she is most impressive. Thick hair in a graceful fall, blue-grey eyes open in an observant questioning of other people's mannerisms. A woman who wins all mental battles with her consistency, stubbornness, and conviction of the legitimacy of all her criticisms. Since there was no one to tell her otherwise, she went on in her brutal honesty; and held fast. It was she who never looked twice at an opinion once made; she who found ways of being kind that people didn't expect; she who is willing to accept a partnership rather than lose a battle. She only lost one battle--the filter of opinions. All in all her life is a busy one. She loves her job and enjoys manipulating the strings of the people surrounding her to insure excellence. She would sigh sometimes during the day, thinking that she had indeed helped the less knowledgeable from being a nuisance to the rest of the community. Written by her friend and peer Caitlyn Bogart.
