WESC Making a debut at the McKinney High School game, fans keep the student section alive as they cheer on the boys.

In an attempt to bring as much spirit to the school as possible, seniors Cole Freda, Jacob Zaborsky and Tate Wood brought to life their very own SportsCenter.

Following the steps of ESPN’s sports broadcasters, these seniors along with sophomore Chestin Keeton, dressed in sports coats and broadcasted school spirit during the McKinney High game.

“It was so live,” senior Spencer Stalcup said. “I had never seen anything like it. I think since most of the students hadn’t seen it before it got them wanting to be a part of the student section.

Throughout the night more students attending the game joined in the broadcast.

“Seeing everyone’s reactions was the best,” Wood said. “Everyone wanted a picture.”

In the end McKinney High ended up winning the game with only seven points.

“I loved seeing everything get together in such a short amount of time,” Freda said. “We got a lot of fans out there to support.”
