Caging the Red Hawks Friday Sept. 6, the varsity team came home with a win.
“We took care of business and left it all out on the field,” sophomore Aubrey White said.
The boys played at the FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco, a location where the team has never played before.
“It was cool playing on that field. I was especially happy it was grass because I would much rather play on grass,” senior Garret McCain said.
The boys believe that they still have lots of room to improve, but played pretty well.
“The team did awesome and at the end we all celebrated. As long as we take care of business we should get the victory.”
The final score was 42-20.
“I was happy with the outcome. We did much better than last week and it truly showed,” McCain said.
Come out to the first home game of the season at Wylie Stadium Friday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. to watch the boys swat the Yellow Jackets and get the victory.
