Fast and the furious speed through five

Fast and the furious speed through five

They’re on the wrong side of the law, but sometimes that is not the worst case scenario. The intimidating, but stunning, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), from Fast and the Furious, teams up with hired hand to do one last job before disappearing forever.

For any guy who watches this film, he is guaranteed to love the numerous action packed moves and detailed car chases, the duo stunts in fighting and let’s not forget the top of the line, sleek cars that grace the big screen. For the girls, the fact that Mia is pregnant and is obviously a couple with Brian might send some over the edge, or possibly squealing in delight.

The emotions rise as this sequel to Fast and the Furious displays more in depth to the trio on the run than the previous film had. In this film, you can see the sort of people that former cop Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), Mia (Jordana Brewster) and Toretto have connections to. Roman (Tyrese Gibson) fires off laughter instantly with his humorous mouthy comments and larger than life attitude.

Tej (Ludacris) comes off as being sly and cunning throughout the film, enticing the audience with his hacking skill. Han (Sung Kang) amuses viewers as he falls for beautiful Gisele (Dal Gadot) through the mission to rob the most powerful man in Rio de Janeiro. Fans are sure to love Toretto’s new love interest, Elena (Elsa Pataky) who plays a Rio novice cop.

The high speed chases aren’t very long in this film, though you see a lot of action with top of the line cars and even a hilarious scenario of Toretto and his crew hijacking a handful of cop cars, and then racing them. His brotherly relationship with O’Conner leaves the watchers wanting more.

Admittedly, Mia’s pregnancy is too blunt and hardly revealed whatsoever in the movie as she displays being a bit pregnant in the beginning and in the end. Her love relationship with O’Connor at least is developed further and brings a close to their lives.

Running from a man named Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), Toretto gives the man an unforgettable challenge and the robbery is one of the sneakiest tricks of the trade as he ends his face off with Hobbs towards the end. Eventually the movie ends with unexpected twists and turns at every corner, and the ending is a bit cheesy due to how easy everyone finds their life dreams fulfilled, but nonetheless it is enjoyable.

Make sure to stay in your seats when the credits start though! The credits will end and there’s more to see as the filmmakers release the sequel of the sequel! This sequel, however, would probably be rated an ‘A’ for the action itself.

See you on the big screen Raiders,

Tiffany Ing
