Only seniors may be exempt from semester exams, if they meet the grade and attendance criteria for that class. Seniors are exempt from the exam for a class if in that period, their:

Semester average = 90-100 AND absences = 0-3

OR

Semester average = 80-89 AND absences = 0-2

All seniors are expected to be in attendance between 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. unless that senior has early release/late arrival AND that class period meets that day. (Example: if you have early release 7th period, you do not have to be on campus during any of the times that 7th period is scheduled to meet during exam week.)

However, early release students will NOT be allowed to miss other class periods’ exams, or leave early from an exam, even for those students having a job. Working students need to make arrangements with their employers; let him/her know that you cannot come to work until after the exam period is finished. No exceptions! (Example: if you have early release seventh period, so you usually leave campus at 3:15, you will NOT be allowed to leave at 3:15 on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, since other class periods’ exams will be held at that time. You must remain in your classroom until 4:10-4:15 each of those days.)

Instruction will be expected in all classes after exams are given. There are no free days or movie days.
