Appreciate custodians year round

They do a great deal behind the scenes. More than just janitors, the custodians help this school run smoothly. From cleaning up spills, to setting up classrooms for testing, the custodial staff is an important branch on the staffulty family tree. Oct. 15-19 is National Custodian Appreciation Week.

Be sure to thank a custodian for all of his or her hard work not just this week, but year round.

Photojournalism students Madi Row and Montana Rowe asked them about the most interesting parts of their job.

Judy Allen

“Watching all of the kids grow up. One of these kids is going to be the mayor some day!”

James Green

“I like communicating with people and going home….but I love my job.”

Kimberly Russo

“I like seeing the kids that used to be at Hartman.”

Tommie Lemons

“Seeing the kids grow up is the best part of my job.”
