Wylie East High School Student Council invites you to kick-off Homecoming Week this year by participating in and attending the annual downtown parade and pep-rally Monday, Oct. 12, at 6:30 p.m.  Stuco would love to have school/groups/organizations enter a float in this year’s parade and is looking forward to representation from EVERY feeder campus in the district.  The theme of the parade is “There’s No Place Like EAST”—(Wizard of Oz).  There will be a float competition and trophies will be awarded to the First, Second and Third place floats.

If your community/school group is interested in entering a parade float, please complete the registration form in its entirety and send to the Wylie East front office or e-mail to [email protected] no later than Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 4:30 p.m.  Please print clearly and write a specific announcement, for this will be the EXACT announcement read aloud as your float passes in front of the Wylie Opry.  No late entries will be accepted, and the maximum number of floats is 50. Register early to reserve your spot!
