The welding project was a combination of technology, art, welding and hard work. Welding instructor Tony Roseberry told his class that the main point of the project was to create something that “looks good.”

Sophomore Rodrigo Garcia partnered with two others to make a skull project using the program Rhino. He says it represents hard work and anything is possible.

It was Roseberry’s idea to do a fun project at the end of the year. The project will be welded by the students using the outline they made using the computer.

“My favorite thing about the project was helping students learn that they can do amazing things,”  Roseberry said.

Sophomores Rodrigo Garcia, Brock Madler and William Berry were involved in the project too with hopes of it being displayed in front of the school.

“I really like using computer technology to make a unique skull head project,” Garcia said.

There will be a competition between the other students to see whose work was the best. It will be judged by Mr. Roseberry,  who will look for creativity, demonstration of hard work and artistic value.

“I just hope for good projects and that we’ll be able to see the hard work shown by each group,” Roseberry said.
