There has always been an argument on whether TV shows or movies are better. Movies are for when people do not have a good attention span and just want to watch something quick. TV shows are for people who want to know more. But the question is which one is better?
The better one is obviously TV shows. Every movie has an ending and sometimes it leads the audience thinking “what is going to happen next” and the answer is usually nothing, unless there are multiple parts which usually come years and years later.
For example, the popular Disney movie “Inside Out” came out in 2015. The second movie didn’t come out until 2024. It took them nine years to create the next movie. They even had to make the new movie catered to teenagers because the kids who watched it back then are all grown up.
Some may argue that TV shows are too long and drawn out. But, there is no doubt that the audience will be at the edge of their seats waiting for the new season of their favorite series. Whereas for movies, people are less likely to be waiting because they know in their hearts that they may never know what happens next.
If a movie goes off well, the makers of the movies should not wait for years upon years to make a new one. One or two years is a good time span for the next movie, especially if it is so popular.
Everyone has their own personal preferences. But, think about it. Waiting years later for the new movie to come out or a couple years for the next season?
