No, I’m not related to Henry Ford or Harrison Ford, but shhh they don’t know that. I’m Haley, 90 percent of my personality is dad jokes and sass. You can always find me doodling, daydreaming and donating my time to band. I’ve always had a love for writing and now new opportunities, like this class, are allowing me to take my passion seriously. This is my first year in newspaper and it definitely won’t be my last!

Hide the tide // The year of 2018 consisted of a lot of questionable fads. Although there are a plethora of these embarrassing moments throughout the past 12 months , the Tide Pod challenge was the worst of them all. The challenge resulted in multiple cases of detergent ingestion across the country. Avoid this ridiculous challenge and other embarrassing events next year so that we can make 2019 a year we don’t want to forget.
