The school year is coming to a close and the time has come to reflect back on the year. The Pride of the East was able to conquer competitions with over 50 guard members in the show titled Conquered, this 2018-2019 school year. Every year, the Pride of the East and guard perform their show at competitions and every varsity football game, both home and away. “Conquered” proved to be one of the best shows in school history, winning an award in every competition. Seven awards are displayed on the shelves in the band hall among countless others.

The yearbook staff captured photos of the show, including the guard who won caption awards at the US Band Marching Competition. Royals continue to excel and grow under the direction of Mr. Alexander Fernandez with a junior varsity and varsity group for the first time.
