It’s that time of year, when senior pranks are put into motion. Most senior classes plan to go to the extreme to make their prank the best. But going to the extreme could end up with jail time. To stay out of trouble, here are 15 harmless pranks that are just as fun as they are legal.  

1. Fill an entire hallway with helium balloons, beach balls, hay or Styrofoam peanuts.
2. Line the walls with post-it notes, from floor to ceiling.
3. Swap senior classes with another local high school for the day.
4. Turn the cafeteria into a beach scene, with inflatable palm trees, beach balls, tiki torches, beach chairs, and a plastic pool filled with sand.
5. Have the entire senior class bring alarm clocks and hide them all around school to go off at different times.
6. Put petroleum jelly on doorknobs and handrails throughout the school.
7. Place rubber mice throughout the school.
8. Put a giant “for sale” sign in front of the school.
9. Put your school on Craigslist.
10. Hire a mariachi band to follow the principal for a day.
11. Change out the default backdrop that is set for all school computers to a meme.
12. Wrap the principal’s desk and every item on it in tinfoil.
13. Turn the hallways into a slip ‘n slide.
14. Put cereal in restroom sinks.
15. Wrap the staircase railings with saran wrap.
