The Precious Gems work on two shows to get ready for competition Jan. 30. Varsity is competing with Louis, a 1940s themed Louis Armstrong show. Junior varsity is performing Up, Up and Away, an exhibition that will take the audience on a flight soaring in a hot air balloon.

They will showcase their performances Jan. 23 in the gym.
