The annual Cross Town Showdown pep rally was held the morning of Oct. 2 with the band leading students into the gym. Varsity football was recognized as VIP team of the week.  DJ “Mouth from the South” and junior Michael Turner narrated the pep rally events. Varsity Cheer and the Sapphires performed the Raider Rumble together along with the student body. Sapphires lined up as the football players exited. The final game score was 56-28, Raiders victorious.
