From community service to grades, the junior reserve officer training core had to earn points in order to receive their letter jackets.

“They service ribbons, grade point average and overall skills contributed toward the 400 points they had to earn to qualify for a letter jacket,” Mst. Sgt. JJ Smith said.

Only seven students in ROTC lettered. This is the first year East cadets have ever received a letter jacket.
