Sam Cinalli: Class of 2015
As a 2015 graduate, Sam Cinalli is passing down a legacy of dance as the Director of Dance for the city of Richardson.
Where did you go to school after high school and what did you major in?
I went to Collin College for two years to get my associates degree in general sciences
I am currently at Texas A&M Commerce and will graduate this May with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management.
What is a lesson you learned in college?
I have learned that no matter how much you think you have planned the world will always have a curve ball for you.
Describe high school you with five adjectives.
Friendly, Kind, quite, ambitious, and dedicated
What was your favorite and least favorite subject?
My favorite subject was geometry with Mrs. [Mary] Carter or band with Mr. [Glenn] Lambert My least favorite subject was probably English (Sorry Coach [Elizabeth] Simmons and Mrs. [Melinda] Black).
What activities were you involved with in high school?
I was a flute player in the Pride of the East, and I was one of the founding members of the National Dance Honor Society.
What advice would you give to anyone in high school now?
Have fun and try as many new things as you can. You never know where life will take you.
