What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about trying to relate to others through my art and creating new works of art.
Why is art your passion?
I have been doing it forever and I can’t remember a time where I didn’t draw. It’s frustrating and makes you want to scream but it’s so amazing to create something beautiful on a blank sheet of paper.
When and how did you discover your passion for art?
I have been drawing my whole life but I discovered my passion for it in the fourth grade when my friends could draw cool stuff and I wanted to do it too, so I did.
What awards or recognition have you received?
Six medals from art competitions and blue ribbons from art shows.
Who or what influences you?
Everything influences me: movies, tv shows, other artists, pop-culture, history, music.
What do you do to further your success?
I take AP art and I sketch whenever I can to improve my skills.
What are your plans for the future and how are you preparing for it?
I plan to attend Pratt where I want to study graphic design. I’m not sure about the specific career I want to pursue, but whatever it is I want it to include art and creativity.
