Track Champion
He won first place in the 400M in the Area track meet. He’s competed nationally since he was 9 years old. He also plays football. Long story short, he’s Charis Jackson.
What track events do you run?
I run the 4x100M, 4x400M, 200M, and 400M.
What challenges did you face in preparation for the meet?
I was dealing with a left knee injury while preparing for the meet.
What made you want to run track?
I enjoy running.
What are your plans after high school?
I plan to continue my education in college to obtain a degree in physical therapy.
What do you hope to accomplish by the end of the season?
I want to be the 400M 5A Champion.
What has been your favorite thing about this season?
Competing with my relay teammates has been my favorite part of the season.
