Coach Alton Dixon

What school district did you come from?

I taught at Lufkin ISD and Dallas ISD.

How long have you been teaching?

I’ve been teaching nine years.

What was the most exciting thing you’ve experienced so far this year?

The ability to be in the Wylie community; there’s something just so special about it.

Who inspired you to teach?

Three people have inspired me to be a teacher: John Outlaw, my head football coach, Todd Quick, my first boss, also a head football coach, and my grandfather, Golden Dixon.

What is your goal by the end of the year?

I want to inspire, motivate and become an essential piece to the Wylie Way.

Question of the week:  If you could be one Power Ranger, which one would you be?

I would be the original Green Power Ranger, the one that turned white, but I have the personality as the black Power Ranger. In my opinion, I was more of a Dragon Ball Z kinda guy, so I would be a Black Goku.
