Homecoming week began its festivities with the parade on Ballard Street in downtown Wylie Oct. 12. Organizations, clubs, and teams built Wizard of Oz themed floats. Others handed out candy along the parade route. The parade ended with the annual community pep rally. The Girl’s basketball team won the float competition. The girl’s soccer team took home second place and third place went to the baseball team.  The Homecoming game against the Lovejoy Leopards is Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Wylie ISD stadium.

Student Council organized the parade. Angela Arp is the STUCO sponsor.
