All-District players announced

All the way \\ Battling Wylie High Feb. 17, sophomore Xavier Hopkins was selected to be on first team all district.

Four varsity boys basketball players were selected for all District 10-5A honors:
Guard Xavier Hopkins and forward Braden Shewmake were chosen to be on First Team All-District. Hopkins is a 5’9″ sophomore and Shewmake is a 6’4″ junior.
Guard Bam Hayes was a unanimous selection for Second Team All-District. Senior Pete O’Konkwo was also selected for Second Team All-District. Hayes is a 5’9″ senior and O’Konkwo is a 6’6″ post.
Tim Davis is the varsity boys basketball coach.
