Search for the best Peppermint Mocha drink this holiday season

Peppermint Mocha has always been a favorite of mine, especially when the holiday season rolls around.

Saxby’s “Grasshopper” (Peppermint Mocha) drink isn’t the best drink I’ve tried. Actually, it was quite gross. I do not recommend anyone getting it, ever; it will be the biggest waste of $4.25 you’ll ever spend in your life, despite the gross product, the service is pleasant and speedy at the shop.

Likewise, Shoemaker and Hardt’s Peppermint Mocha wasn’t the greatest either. The coffee is good and all but, the only peppermint flavoring is on top of the whipped cream. There wasn’t much mocha flavor in the drink itself. It tasted like a crushed candy cane whipped cream on hot coffee. I could have used my $4 for something more useful like pencils. As for the atmosphere, it was wonderful. My Nana and I went in, got our drinks and played checkers. It was quiet and relaxing. I would recommend this place as a place to go when you need to study.

On the other hand, Starbucks’ Peppermint Mocha was great; although the coffee over powered the chocolate and peppermint flavor I could still taste them in the drink. I loved the service as well.   Walking up to order a drink, the cashiers are friendly, cheerful, act as if the customer is an old friend and strike up a conversation. Let’s get real; what girl doesn’t like being talked to? But, I don’t think I would buy that drink again, simply because I don’t like the strong coffee flavor.  Yet the $4.45 was totally worth the spend.
