Police enforcement is necessary at concerts

Fans are screaming, artists are singing and the moment feels so wonderful. What breaks up this so called heaven? The Police.

Many concerts in this day and age are now requiring Police assistance at their venues.  Most concerts are open to people of all ages, and what comes with allowing such a wide variety of age comes the possibility of illegal trouble.  Many concert goers get into trouble with the law when it comes to what is illegal and what is not.

Police officers are a huge attribute to handling the mass crowds at a concert. When things get out of control and bad things start happening, the police are there to make sure everyone is safe and having a good time.  Kids can get away with a lot of things when it’s dark and everyone is pumped up on adrenaline, drugs and alcohol which can be passed around illegally.

On the other hand, it is understandable that the people that are doing illegal things before the concert are mostly the reason why there are police officers in the first place.

Privacy is no longer an issue; the police are always watching the crowd, even in the bathrooms.  It might take away some of the fun for the night, but in the long run it will save you jail time and fines.

Police officers should remain at the venue to insure safety for the fans and the people working the venue.

Hi! I’m Alyssa (:  I love taking pictures and going to concerts.  My dream job is to be like Bryan Stars.  I play guitar and I interview bands. I’ve lived in Texas my whole life, and I don’t plan on staying here after high school.  I plan on being a photographer, taking pictures of concerts.  I really love Tumblr.  I love tattoos and piercings, I’m kind of weird but I like it. I really wish my hair was blue.  My favorite band is Pierce the veil or Breathe Carolina.  I love kittehs: 3
