Being a junior gets tough. The workload piles up faster than it takes for laxative cookies to kick in. Sure everything we get for homework is mandatory, but it’s rarely interesting even more so interactive. Most teenagers, like myself, enjoy the work that gets the brain going and appeals to my interests. That’s where Starcraft comes into the picture.

Starcraft is a computer game created by the Blizzard Company in 1998. It entails a war between three races of beings that live throughout the universe. They fight for resources and land until there is only one colony standing. The game is usually played online, but I personally own a version which can be played on multiple computers connected to the same server. This game could possibly be played at school if anyone attempted such.

With all the homework I am assigned, sometimes I find Starcraft a way to escape. It’s always fun to play a game of strategy with your friends, especially when you can beat them every time. The game keeps me focused and constantly thinking. Starcrastinating has gotten me occupied instead of mindlessly losing myself in Facebook drama or dumbing down my mind watching YouTube videos.
