Student Drivers Aren’t Safe

Speeding, cussing, and having no respect for other drivers in the school parking lot needs attention.

Something needs to be done to fix this problem, either by having a police officer out patrolling the parking lot or having people watch the security cameras to catch offenders.

The things people do out in the parking lot is disrespectful to themselves, others and their school. People are speeding, cussing and having no respect for the students and parents who are leaving the parking lot.

Most students don’t leave school until 4:30 p.m. or even as late as 4:45 p.m. to avoid the chaos that happens out in our parking lots.  Many people fear for their safety while walking out to their car, or trying to drive out of the parking lot because of those who don’t care that they are behind the wheel of a dangerous machine.

The only solution to the parking lot madness is to consult administrators and make them aware of the problems going on in our school’s parking lot.

Students need to take care while driving on campus and be cautious of pedestrians.  Let’s take a stand and do something about safety in the parking lot.
