Despite power outage; faith still spread

Despite power outage; faith still spread

The Machine Gun Preacher visited the school today to spread his word about drugs, alcohol and Christianity. Check back for the full story. Meanwhile, you can listen to the One Man’s War song from Aaron Hendra here; http://soundcloud.com/aaronhendra/one-mans-war. Aaron sang this song after Sam Childers told the crowd of his past and how Aaron created a song about the children from Sudan, Africa. Aaron spent a week with the children and in the end of the song, the rescued children sing with him. The song and the speech are strong and moving. More information about Sam Childers can be found soon on Blueprint so check back for more information.

My husband and I were so thrilled to be there! Especially when the lights went out! The students behaved despite the temptation to scatter! 😉 Awesome job to The Machine Gun preacher whom you can hear again at First Baptist Wylie this Sunday, April 17th. fbcwylie.org
