Put a little pep in your step Friday morning

This Friday, Oct. 2, a pep rally is scheduled in the morning in honor of Crosstown Showdown, the rivalry football game between Wylie High and Wylie East.

Students will go to first period to check in and then go to the gym at 9:10. Students choosing not to go to the pep rally will stay in the cafeteria.

The pep rally is taking place in the morning so that the students can start off their day getting pumped up for the game Friday night.

“I’m so glad that the pep rally is in the morning. Maybe this will mean we’ll have more seniors participating now,” said Ms. Taylor, advisor of Ready-Set-Teach.

After the pep rally, students will return back to their first period class, followed by their second period, and then all lunches will be done. After lunches will be third period followed by seventh and eighth.

“The schedule is a little bit confusing and odd but I’m excited for the pep rally being in the morning,” sophomore Seth Ragsdale said.
