Lepsis chooses football program cover design

Two in a row \\ Using photos, color treatments and other graphic design elements, junior Haleigh King’s design was selected to be featured as the cover of the next football program.

For the second year in a row Haleigh King’s artwork was selected to grace the cover of the 2015 WEHS Raider Football program.
“I was surprised at first,” the senior said. “I felt honored to be chosen for the second year in a row.”
Using photo cutouts, spot coloring and specialty fonts, King spent about eight hours creating her design.
The theme for the season is CGP which stands for character, grades and pride.
“Making the background of pictures was complicated,” King said. I had a hard time choosing what images I wanted to put on the cover.”
Each year Lepsis asks yearbook staff members to design a cover for the following year’s football program. This year four students chose to participate.
“Two of them were really awesome. It was a difficult decison,” Athletic Director Joe Lepsis said.
Past winners include: Garry Adams, Tracy Norman, Lela Reyna and Kyle Fay.
