Spanish classes participate in confetti egg tradition

The last day before Easter break, Mrs. Michelle Briseno’s Spanish II class joined together in a fun activity called “break the eggs”.

Confetti-filled eggs are a popular part of Mexican Easter celebrations. Students were taken outside for a “surprise” when they bombarded one another with these eggs.

“I let the students have fun, but also taught them how the Spanish culture celebrates,” Mrs. Briseno said.

The students got to have fun, but also learned about the Mexican traditions.

“Every Spanish II teacher should do this because it helps teach the students about the Spanish culture and the way of their Easter,” Freshman Jimmy Chan said.
