Another group of Raiders has traveled the world! Nine students, two parents and one teacher embarked on a journey to the South Pacific this summer. They visited Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and Hawaii.
“It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience,” teacher Jessica Taylor said.
Some of the highlights of the trip included a boat tour of Fijian islands, snorkeling, A traditional Maori dinner, Sydney Harbor, An Aussies Rule Football game, surfing in Hawaii and a luau.
“Australia was everything I had hoped for and more. I pet a koala and stood two feet away from a kangaroo at the wild life center! I actually cried when I saw the opera house… Amazing,” senior Ezgi Wood said.
