Crosstown Showdown: band edition \ After a long night at the Crosstown Showdown football game, Pride of the East was back up the next morning to travel to John Clark Stadium in Plano. The band performed parts one, two and three of their 2014 show, Leaving Home. They won a trophy for outstanding color guard and for third place out of all the 5A bands. This is the first time weve beat McKinney Norths color guard, guard member Hannah Diaz said. After doing the Raider Rumble over three times, the band ranked fifth out of the ten 5A and 6A bands. I feel like we did a pretty decent job, band member Thomas David said.
